Tip: How to Soften Butter Quickly

Here's a great tip I found from someone on twitter today. This is for all of you who like to bake like I do. I would rather make cookies, cakes and pies then make a regular meal for dinner. I hate trying to figure out what to make each night. OK so here is the tip.

  2. I just slap mine in the microwave for about 5-10 seconds and it softens it quickly without melting it...I check in 5 second intervals...:)

  3. Great tip!

I'm with you... I would rather bake too. The decision on what's for supper is always a dreaded task. What saves me is if I plan for the week and make a list of what we will have each night. Of course sometimes plans change, but at least I'm a little ahead of the curve. :-)

  5. Good tip; when I have time I put butter in the warming oven or in the sunshine and it softens, gently in just a little while.
Thank you for visiting Thistle Cove Farm and I've enjoyed visiting Rock River Stitches.
