7 baby bunnies?

I checked on the babies about a half hour ago and now there are 7 babies! I don't get it. All day I checked on them and there were just 3. Mommy bunny was a few feet away from me so I came into the house right away so she could tend to the babies. I wonder would she be bringing in babies from some where else?? Or could there be a tunnel that maybe the others were down in?

  6. Sometime with some of the ones we find, there's more buried/snuggled way down in the grass hidden or up under momma where you don't see them at first. But like mommy said, they are rabbits and she could have had more after you first left. Sometimes it takes a while before they're all born. :) Enjoy watching them, but try not to get too obsessed. LOL

  7. I love what mommnoodles said..LOL...
I am sorry for the loss of one but the gain of 7!! they are beautiful and delightful stories coming from you.
You are right people should leave their cats indoors..many birds are becoming severly extinct due to household cats. I have 4 of them and they are indoors and just as happy looking out the screen window.
