Bird Pin Cushion E Pattern

My folk art bird pin cushion has turned out to be pretty popular! I had it listed in my etsy shop no more then 24 hours, and it sold. Then got several inquires about making a pattern for it. So made up a pattern and now have it listed in my etsy shop and Pattern Mart. Will get it listed on my website very soon. I also will be making another bird pin cushion to sell on etsy. So keep an eye out for it.

Made this little guy up today and just listed him in my etsy shop. We are back to winter here. There was a little dusting of snow on the ground when I woke up. Only 32º today. Spring can't come soon enough.

Fairy Cora

Primitive Bunch of Carrots

Happy Friday! Made up a bunch of carrots today and have them listed in my etsy shop. Need to make a few more crow make do's this weekend to add to my shop. They seem to be selling pretty good right now. And will be working on more of my folk art birds as well.

Primitive Easter Bucket

Finished up this little Easter bucket today. Found these cute little paper mache buckets at Ben Franklin Crafts the other day and just had to get them and make something new. This little guy is now listed in my etsy shop if you want to take a look at more pics of it. We have a winter storm watch for tomorrow night. We are expecting 2" to 6" of the white stuff. I'm hopeing we get none!!! Maybe we'll get lucky and have most of it go north of us. Just about all the snow has melted in the last couple of weeks and don't want to see anymore.

Another Jack Rabbit

Finished up yet another rabbit today and listed him on etsy tonight. Since the first one sold in nothing flat, I thought I would make another one. I love the way they turn out. So darn cute! I'm partial to bunnies anyway. I'm seriously thinking of making one for me to keep.

Front Page of Etsy!

I just discovered that I was on the front page of Etsy! If you know anything about etsy, this is a really big thing when it happens to you. I've been with etsy for almost 2 years and it took that long for me. Some people are on the front page all the time. Being on the front page gives you a little more exposure to your shop. And the day that I was on was the day of my dad's funeral. Well I'm just glad I finally made it. You can see my white folk art bird that's at the top right hand side.

New Things!

I had a pretty productive day today! Didn't have to babysit so I got tons done. This morning I worked on finishing up a new pattern, got some laundry done, vacuumed and finished up Mr. Jack Rabbit. So I have a new pattern for my mouse pocket peg ornie and my rabbit doll,which are in my etsy shop now! woo hoo, wish I could get that much done everyday.

Hey everybody! Got a new pattern made up today and just listed it on Patternmart.com. Will get it in my etsy shop and my website soon. I had a request to make a pattern for my angel kitty and thought that I would make one for both of my black cats that I recently made. So you get 2 kitty patterns for the price of one!! Primitive Folk Art Angel Cat

It was a pretty busy day for me today. Got some sewing done this morning and finished up my Angel Kitty. He's up for sale on my website if you want to check him out. Then in the afternoon took my mom to the doctor to get her results on her blood work she had done last week and get a refill on her medication. She's lost 10 pounds and her blood pressure is back down to normal. So she's in good shape now. Sure was a beautiful day Got up to 40º!! yippie! I saw a robin yesterday and just couldn't believe it! I think that is the earliest I have ever seen one. Maybe it's a sign that we will have a early spring. I do hope so!
