About a week ago I moved one of my hummingbird feeders from my back deck to a front window of my living room.
Click on the photos to see them up close! It's a perfect spot! You see them come right up to the feeder while watching tv. I don't know why I never thought to put it there before in the 3 years I have been feeding them.
So I took these photos today. Some are when the sun was under the clouds earlier today and then this afternoon when the sun came out and hit the feeder just right. Enjoy!>
We have our feeder on a shepherd's crook. Sometimes the little Hummingbirds will rest sitting on top of it. Of course, I never have my camera ready when they do.

ReplyDeleteI just got a new set of birds making a nest beside my front door in the ivy on the pillar....I can't wait for the hummers to come back to this area...

Wow, Tammy! Those photos are terrific! I have our feeders out, but I've only seen a pair of hummers, maybe 2 or 3 times in the last couple weeks.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!

Aaaawww, great pics! I love that you can even see their precious little feet! I think this is our best year EVER for hummers.
ReplyDeleteI moved my feeder from way out by the garage to the deck railing and they come right up to it now....and they even come up to me. At first I thought they were bees then realised they were being social.
