Love for Gerbera Daisies!

I must confess, I'm obsessed with Gerbera Daisies!! They come in so many colors! I have four different colors this year. Here are couple photos I took this past weekend!

Got a ton of work done in the yard this weekend! Just can't believe how fast weeds grow!! Was feeling a little stiff on Sunday morning.

I've join a art website where you can purchase my photos in different sizes and styles!! It's called Fine Art America. <<<< Click on that link to go to my selling page. I also have a link over on my right hand sidebar of my blog that will take you there. If you are interested in a photo that you don't see listed there that I've posted here on my blog, let me know and I'll see about getting  it listed at Fine Art America.

Oh and have a couple more coin purses finished and listed in my etsy shop! These I made the smaller size and with a Script cotton print for the outside.

Love the way they turned out!!

New Additions!

I've been working non stop on coin purses! Had two requests for a kitty purse. I've got one finished and plan to make a black cat one as well. You can find these in my etsy shop now HERE

So we have been getting snow and more snow!!! I thought the ground hog said it would be a early Spring!! One day I went out looking for a country snow photo and found this!!

I captured these cows following one another down to the pond to get a drink on a snowy day.

Our weather vane on the roof of our garage

Ok this is my hubby...He plucked this icicle off the roof. Not sure if he is pretending to be a zombie or what.  LOL We should have measured it. My hubby is 5' 11" so you can just about guess.

Last week I scored this basket and paper mache eggs at the goodwill for $4.38! There were 59 eggs. I don't know if they dropped one of them or what when they taped them up in this basket. I would have had a even 5 dozen. Oh well.

I've already made a dozen of primitive eggs for myself and made another dozen to sell in my etsy shop. Here they are!        *Bowl will not be included with the eggs*

New Primitive Coin Purses!

I have a few more coin purses for sale!! A few of them will be listed in my etsy shop tonight! These are so fun to make!! Click here to my shop---> Rock River Stitches

In other news.....On Thursday night we were to get this huge snowstorm. All the weathermen were so excited about it and then we only get 3 to 4 inches. There is a supposedly another biggie for Tuesday....We will see.

Well anyway on Friday I decided to build me a birdfeeder snowman!! I had seen this idea several years ago in a Birds and Blooms magazine and had kept the idea in my head for a long time. So I made a Snow Lady!!   The feeling making this snowman brought back wonderful memories when I was a kid. It was pure joy!! I had great fun creating her!

It wasn't more then 2 minutes after I came in the house...There was Mrs. Cardinal!!

I knew the squirrels would be by next. They showed up a couple of hours later!!!

The squirrels did a number on the sunflower seed. They cleaned her out! As usual :)

And captured this shot of this Carolina Wren! They LOVE my homemade suet!

I get a pair of them every morning. They are always the first birds to show up just after the sun comes up. I believe these birds are the cutest!!!
