Blizzard and Birds!

Well...we got a total of 7 inches of snow and now the wind is blowing like crazy. I spent a good part of the morning photographing the birds that come to the feeders that I have on my sewing room windows. There's been a ton of activity all day. I think I will have to refill the feeders before dark so they are ready for tomorrow morning. I think it going to get below 0 with the wind chill factor of 20 mph winds. I feel so sorry for the birds this time of the year. enjoy the pics!

    Beautiful pictures! I just love watching them flitting around, taking turns at the feeders. My chickens love them too. They run out of their coop first thing in the morning just as fast as they can to see if there are any goodies left under the feeders. Too funny!!!

    Linda, Yes I did take the pictures through my window. The trees are pretty close to my windows where my bird feeders are.

    Hi Tammy, you have a very nice blog! I'm enjoying all the photos of your home and holiday decorations. Great bird shots! The female cardinal shot has to be my favorite! She's beautiful!

    It's awfully cold here too. I swear I don't know how the birds make it through the winter. Brrr...
