This fairy like creature is called a Woolly Aphid. They look like tiny bits of cotton flying through the air. I've never seen one close up before. They are beautiful!
Time for the Red Barn Sale tomorrow! Hope to find more primitive treasures! I'll post some pics tomorrow if I find anything amazing!
I haven't tried to take a close up shot with my iPhone, usually I just snap a pict and send it to Facebook for fun. I have a waterproof that I can put in my pocket and I use a box for my good camera and just take it out when we are on solid ground. Can be a pain though, would be nice to have a good waterproof that has zoom.
