Snow and more Snow

This is what we woke up to this morning, about 7" of new snow!

Just about the whole Quad Cities is shut down. Now the winds are picking up with gusts up to 30 mph. So I'm stuck inside today and thought I would take some pics of my birds.

I have 2 window feeders on my sewing room window that I just love watching while I am on the computer or sewing. Then out on my deck I have a couple feeders along with my suet feeder. I'm hopeing to get some nice pics of the woodpeckers on the suet feeder.

  2. What a lovely idea. I'm going to move some feeders by windows I'm near most. I put squirrel feeders near my kitchen window. Cuddle up and get the hot cocoa ready.

  5. You will probably think I'm crazy but I wish we would get a storm like that! It's about 16* here and there is snow on the ground but not 7".lol just snow softly tumbling down. I figure if I have to stay in I'd rather have a storm.LOL
    Have a wonderful day inside:)

All that snow is not much fun. Cold temps here too. It was finally above zero over the weekend thou. That was nice.
