Primitive Vintage Lace Pear, Home Decor

 Hello! Welcome to my new blog post! I would like to share my new Pear creation! It's made with vintage lace overlay on stained muslin. Its stuffed very firmly with fiberfill and them topped off with a stick stem. I then tied stained leaves around the stem. 

It was made from a enlarge version of my Primitive Fall Harvest Pears pattern that can be found in my etsy shop --> Rock River Stitches

I loved creating this cutie Owl! My inspiration comes from my childhood back in the 60's. I remember my mom decorating with all the orange and black paper decorations.

April Showers in March

Hello, my friends! I hope you are doing well with this virus that is so out of control. Staying home hasn't bothered me one bit. I'm a bit of a homebody anyway. Just keeping busy with new and old projects!

One of the new is this Primitive Chickadee Bird!

And I have a brand new Pattern too for this sweet bird, as well!

We had terrible thunder storms pass through here last night and dumped 4" of rain! Needless to say....our basement is flooded. Expecting another storm later this afternoon with possible tornadoes. When it rains...it pours!

We made it through January! Yay! And I guess the ground hog saw his shadow. So 6 more weeks of winter. I can't complain to much about winter this year. Hardly been winter like.

I'm starting to miss my hummingbirds. They will be back in about 3 months!

I believe the babies are about 2 weeks old. They are starting to get their feathers as you can see.
