ReplyDeletebleeding hearts were a plague on kauai...they grow from tubbers that go over 15' deep...we had a coconut tree removed (they dug it up to plant at a hotel, and paid us of course) and thats how deep they were and deeper. they cover everything and strangle out other plants. its funny...stuff you buy in nurseries here and baby in the house grow by the roadside or wild on kauai. even orchids grow wild up in the mountains on trees.
