Hello Spring!

Hello! It's been over a year since my last post and I think it's time to get back on here and share a few things!

I have many new Spring Home decor items available in my shop--> Etsy Shop

First is my latest creation that I finished yesterday. Chicken and Chicks made from reclaimed fabrics. The baby chicks are quilted fabric!

Then I have a few Spring Appliqued Hearts made from my fabric scrap stash. The background fabric is from a vintage textured tablecloth.

Just One of these bunnies left!

Here are my Sweet Birds in Nests! They are made from vintage tablecloth. They are sitting in a painted peat pot with wood excelsior nest. So cute on a shelf!

Lots of hand stitching goes into these sweet birds!

Thank you for stopping by! Not sure many blog anymore.

Welcome December! Another month has flown by!

What a whirlwind last week was with Thanksgiving! No time for sewing for those 4 days around Thanksgiving. Too busy with family and my three grandchildren who certainly keep me on my toes!
Nothing but silence now which is alright with me! hehe

So I have many New Primitive creations looking for new homes!

I love making these snowmen and tree make do's! Their faces make me smile :)

I now have a pattern available for my Primitive Christmas Angel Cat Ornie! You can find it in my Etsy Shop here Rock River Stitches

These sweet little Primitive Nesting birds are so cute! I have one available along with the pattern for them! Super easy pattern to make up quick to decorate your tree!!

This Primitive Candlestick tree turned out so cool!! Available in my Etsy Shop!

So this is what I've been up to lately! Time to get back to work as I have several new ideas!!

Primitive Scrappy Birds!

These sweet birds are now finished! I am adding them to my etsy shop today. A few are already there to purchase.

Stop in at my etsy shop here Rock River Stitches to see them!
They stand 5" tall and are 7" long. They stand on cute rusty wire legs. Love creating these guys from the huge lot of fabric scraps and vintage lace. Their beaks are from a whittled twig. Perfect I think!

I still have several Halloween items that can be purchased! I always get my orders out the same day or next day after purchasing.

Among the Halloween are these birds! Seems today's post is all about Birds! Which I adore!

Check my Etsy shop for them as well!

Happy Monday my friends!

If you are looking for Beautiful unique jewelry this holiday season, Please stop by my daughters Etsy shop here Becca Ann's Bits

Her shop is fairly new. Please have a look and give her a like! Very reasonable prices that can't be beat!

Another Flock of Primitive Textile Birdies!

Just finished up another flock of my new birds! They are in my Etsy Shop waiting to fly to their new home!

You can see all of them by clicking on this link >>> Rock River Stitches

The weather is certainly feeling like Summer around here lately (finally). Flowers are doing wonderful especially after the 3 1/2" of rain yesterday. I lost count on the many thunderstorms that passed through. Every time I got ready to go to the grocery store another storm was coming! So I put that shopping trip off till today.

Gerbera Daisy just opening up!
The American Goldfinch birds love these flowers just a much as I do! I'm having a problem keeping them off the flowers. They like to pluck the petals off to get to the seeds from the center. They do the same thing to my Zinnia's. grrrrrr I would like to enjoy my daisies a little bit longer before the birds get to them.
