Red, White and Boom!

Happy 4th of July!!

Last night went to the local fireworks works here in the Quad Cities called Red, White and Boom.

It draws huge crowds from Davenport, Iowa and Rock Island, Illinois.

They set off the fireworks out on a barge in the middle of the Mississippi river for a spectacular show, to music on both sides of the river.

Here are a few pics I captured from last night. Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th!

Here's the grand finale!!

We have rain here this morning and I do hope it clears off in time for the cookout with the neighbors next door.

  1. Gorgeous photos. All the years we lived there, I think we only went twice to see the fireworks. One time we sat in the middle of what used to be called John O'Donnell stadium.

  5. Great shots of the fireworks. I am too lazy to fight the traffic and crowds, but I can hear them from my house;)
